Rutter Media raises over $16,000 for local charities

Rutter Media of Muncie, a division of Rutter Communications Network, LLC raised over $16,000 for the local chapter of United Way and one of it's member agencies, Open Door Community Services.
On August 16th, Rutter held their sixth annual Rutter Charity Golf Classic to benefit the two charities. Thanks to the largest turnout in the history of the event, along with numerous donations from local businesses, Rutter was able to exceed the previous high in funds raised by over $6,000.
The Players Club at Woodland Trails was the host site for the event. Local realtor Mike Lunsford, the owner of the course and a former United Way Campaign Chair, donated usage of the facility to help maximize proceeds for the charities. Cardinal Health System, headed by the current campaign chair John Laverty, was a major sponsor of the event.
Rutter Media and parent company Rutter Communications are heavily involved in numerous community organizations including the local United Way. In addition to the annual fundraiser, Rutter has numerous staff members who volunteer for the United Way and its member agencies. Rutter Communications airs promotional television advertising for the annual campaign through Comcast Cable in Delaware County.
Rutter Communications Network LLC is a multi-media company headquartered in Muncie, Indiana. Rutter has cable television advertising operations across the country. Rutter also operates multiple production divisions within Rutter Media offices and operates Ideavenue Film and Video Productions out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
