Rutter Communications honors Jim Adams

Jim Adams, General Manager of Rutter Media of Laconia, was awarded both the 2004 Rutter Leadership Award as well as the 2004 President's Award. The Leadership Award was given to Adams based on the outstanding growth of the Laconia market in the face of numerous challenges. The President's Award is given annually to the person who most closely demonstrates the company's core values, which are Integrity, Performance, Work Ethic, Professionalism, Strategic Thinking and Community.

"We are honored to recognize Jim with these two distinguished awards because he has earned them both. His positive leadership over the past year has directly lead to increased results for our clients and growth for our company," Stated Richard Crist, Rutter Communications President.

Jim Adams started at Rutter in July 2000. Since then, Adams has shown to be constantly positive and optimistic in encouraging his staff that they can get there. Adams has radio experience as a sales representative and management experience as the manager of two marinas in the Lakes Region. He has two bachelor's degrees from Plymouth State College, one in marketing and another in psychology. He is a member of the Laconia Rotary club, the Laconia Chamber of Commerce and is a United Way volunteer. Adams is involved in several community programs, including the Santa Fund, Coats for Kids, Plymouth Main Street, Laconia Main Street, Belknap Snowmobilers club and the Central New Hampshire Snowmobile club.
