Brent Close wins Rutter President's Award
Muncie, IN - July 9, 2003

Rutter Communications, a multi-state marketing firm specializing in cable television advertising, announced that Brent Close won the Rutter President's Award. The President's Award is given to the employee who most exemplifies all of Rutter's core values, which are integrity, performance, work ethic, professionalism, strategic thinking and community service. "Brent embodies the values that we hold at Rutter, and he has proven to be a true professional with a great work ethic," said Rutter president King Lumpkin.
Mr. Close is the Director of Operations for Rutter. He joined the company in 1998 as Network Services Manager and was promoted to his current position in December 2002. Mr. Close is a graduate of Lincoln High School in Cambridge City, Indiana. He earned his bachelor's degree in marketing and sales management from Ball State University. Mr. Close is an active member of his community, serving on the speakers' bureau for the United Way and earning the Jaycee of the year award in 1997 from the Muncie Jaycees. Close is also a graduate of the 48th Academy for Community Leadership.
