Rutter Communications awards Long Format of the Year

Rutter awarded Mike Jensen and Jerry Prince, of Ideavenue, the 2004 Long Format of the Year Award for their Work One of East Central Indiana video entitled "Occupations Within Your Reach". Jensen was responsible for the videography while Prince lead in the editing.

This was a huge project in order to acquire what was needed. In one day Jensen toured 5 counties getting exterior shots of the Work One buildings and the businesses that use Work One. It took another four to five days for interviews. There were 32 different professions displayed in the video. The way they wanted to present it, Prince had to edit each profession as a separate piece but had to give the video, as an entirety, continuity. Both Jensen and Prince thought this was an outstanding project to work on. They said they knew the result of this video would be helping people find employment so it felt like a community service and that was a great feeling for them.

Rutter Communications Network LLC is a multi-media company headquartered in Muncie, Indiana. Rutter has cable television advertising operations across the country. Rutter also operates multiple production divisions within Rutter Media offices and operates Ideavenue Film and Video Production out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
