New Hire: Todd Merickel

Muncie, IN - August 9, 2004

Rutter Communications Network, LLC has announced that Todd Merickel has been named Senior Account Manager for Rutter Media. Rutter Communications Network, LLC is a full service advertising and marketing company with specific emphasis on cable television advertising, video and film production services, and creative strategies. Merickel started his career with WLBC Radio in Muncie, Indiana back in 1988. Merickel worked for WLBC Radio for seven years as a sports producer and later as an account executive before moving to Sarasota, Florida to work for Clear Channel. While in Sarasota, Merickel was President and CEO of Golfing Lifestyle Magazine. Merickel returned to Indiana in 2003 where he worked for WFBQ, WRXZ and WNDE in Indianapolis. Tom Simpson, General Manager of Rutter Media, had this to say about Merickel, "We are very pleased to welcome Todd back to the Muncie community. His media experience and knowledge coupled with his local roots will serve Rutter clients well."

Merickel is a graduate of Muncie Northside H.S. and Ball State University, where he earned a degree in Telecommunications. Merickel has been a member of the United States Soccer Federation and a referee since 1984.
