Rutter Communications presents Campaign of the Year Award

Rutter awarded Tag West and Larry Rader, of Rutter Media in Muncie, the 2004 Campaign of the Year Award for their Rick Cooper Sales and Service campaign. The production of this campaign started when Rutter wanted to create something that made Rick Cooper Sales and Service stand out. From that realization, the next step took some brainstorming to find a visual contact. After that the taping and editing began. "Shooting enough footage to allow for editing was one of the toughest parts of creating this campaign," Rader shared. He said that for each commercial they were shooting three to four hours of raw footage. West on the other hand, who wrote the campaign said, "it practically wrote itself." He said he started to write the words and music and the video just followed. They were both pleased that everything worked out as well as it did, not only for their client most of all.
