Todd Merickel named Sales Manager for Rutter Media

Muncie, IN - January 10, 2008

Rutter Communications Network recently announced that Todd Merickel has been promoted to Sales Manager for the Rutter Media office in Muncie, Indiana.

Mr. Merickel has been a member of the Rutter Media team for over 3 years, previously as Senior Account Manager for the division.

In his new role, Mr. Merickel will continue to work with key clients on advertising and marketing programs. In addition, he will assume responsibilities in promotion development for special events and sports programming. Merickel will also be involved in training and staff development for Rutter Media.

Prior to joining Rutter, Merickel served as an Account Executive for Clear Channel of Indianapolis (WFBQ, WRZX, WNDE) and had spent 7 years in Sarasota, Florida as the Special Events Director for Clear Channel Sarasota and 2 years as the Founder and Publisher of Golfing Lifestyle Magazine. He has over 15 years of media experience in a variety of radio and magazine sales and management positions.

He is a graduate of Ball State University, majoring in Telecommunications. He is very active in the community. Todd is involved in a variety of business and community leadership positions including current President of Business Networking Inc. (BNI) Cardinal Success chapter, a Board member of both Muncie Starsoccer and the Delaware County Optimist, and Treasurer of the Muncie Homebuilders Association. Merickel has been a member of the United States Soccer Federation and a referee since 1984.
